Back From Neverland

Today was the last day of summer camp. I left with a memory teeming with crazy stories (Got bitten again today. I guess there are reasons why you shouldn’t let kids pretend to eat you. All in love, tho.), a voice slightly hoarse from obnoxious singing and continual commanding, and a heart bursting at the seams with the 27+ children that wiggled their way inside.

I will miss their little bear hugs and random freak-outs and chocolate milk bubble-blowing. And how my Darth Vader imitation can earn me cool points.

(Not that our goodbyes were terribly sentimental. They were watching Blue’s Clues when I left, and obviously Steve and the talking mailbox are much more important than any Teacher departing.)
